# Regulatory compliance

When a customer connects their energy provider account, you must inform them who will have access to their data and how it will be used. This is a legal requirement under GDPR and other data protection laws worldwide.

Your Terms of Service or other linked document must list Flatpeak as a sub-processor. Full information about Flatpeak legal entity and our data protection policies are available in our Terms of Service.

To comply, go to the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.flatpeak.com) > **Branding** and provide the following details:

1. Company trading name or legal name
2. Terms of Service URL
3. Support URL
