Yotta is the next major release of the Flatpeak platform, arriving in late 2026. Named after the SI prefix for 10²⁴, Yotta introduces the foundations for virtual power plant operations, enabling energy providers and flexibility operators to onboard, monitor, and dispatch distributed energy assets through a unified platform.
This specification is preview only and will change before release. Do not integrate yet.
Yotta extends Flatpeak beyond energy tariffs and optimisation by introducing a dedicated platform for distributed energy resource management. The release provides the core capabilities energy providers need to connect customer owned energy assets, collect telemetry, dispatch devices, and operate flexibility programmes at scale.
