What will you do
In this role, you will drive the company’s global energy data acquisition strategy through analysis of energy markets and customer demand. Working with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Operations teams you will be mapping customer demand, platform usage and the dynamics of energy retailers and markets around the world to determine integration with which retailers (and in what order) will deliver the most value to the largest segment of our customers and their end-users.
Your experience
The ideal candidate will have a track record working for an energy sector consultancy, energy supplier, transmission operator or/and regulator in a product or/and data science role. You will have an in-depth understanding of energy markets across at least one of - Europe, North America and/or Oceania regions.
Responsibilities
- Prioritise integration of energy retailers and other energy pricing data by customer demand, market share, positioning, accessibility of data and accessibility of integration interfaces.
- Gather and validate data on electricity tariffs from energy providers & networks.
- Provide insights into tariff strategies and market positioning for energy retailers.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electricity retailers, tariff mechanisms, and energy pricing models.
- Ability to autonomously investigate, extract and manipulate data.
- Experience with data analysis tools and programming such as Excel, SQL, and Python.
